By downloading, installing, or using the Samadhan mobile application ("App") and services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Services.

2. Description of Services

Samadhan is a citizen grievance platform that provides:

• A platform for citizens to report public issues and grievances
• Complaint tracking and status updates
• Connection with verified social workers who follow up on complaints
• Communication channel with government authorities
• Anonymous reporting capabilities (Stealth Mode)

3. User Eligibility

To use our Services, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have a valid Indian phone number
• Provide accurate and truthful information during registration
• Not be prohibited from using our Services under applicable laws

4. User Account

4.1 Registration

You must register an account to use our Services. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your information
• Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access

4.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized use of your account.

5. Acceptable Use

5.1 You Agree To:

• Use the Services only for lawful purposes
• Provide truthful and accurate information in complaints
• Respect the privacy and rights of others
• Cooperate with authorities and social workers in resolving complaints
• Not misuse the anonymous reporting feature

5.2 You Agree Not To:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent complaints
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users, social workers, or officials
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use the platform for political propaganda or hate speech
• Spam or flood the system with duplicate complaints
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Services

6. Social Worker Terms

If you register as a Social Worker, you additionally agree to:

• Provide accurate identity verification documents
• Maintain confidentiality of complainant information
• Handle complaints professionally and ethically
• Provide truthful status updates on cases
• Not accept bribes or engage in corrupt practices
• Follow up diligently on accepted complaints
• Respect stealth mode settings and complainant privacy

7. Content Guidelines

7.1 User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, store, and share your content for providing our Services.

7.2 Content Standards

Your content must not:

• Contain false or misleading information
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Contain defamatory, obscene, or offensive material
• Promote violence, discrimination, or illegal activities
• Violate anyone's privacy rights

8. Complaint Process

By submitting a complaint, you understand and agree that:

• Complaints may be shared with relevant government authorities
• Social workers may be assigned to follow up on your complaint
• We cannot guarantee resolution of all complaints
• Resolution timelines depend on government authorities
• You may be contacted for additional information

9. Intellectual Property

The Samadhan name, logo, and all content, features, and functionality of our Services are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission
• Use our trademarks without written consent
• Reverse engineer or decompile our application

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

We do not warrant that:

• The Services will be uninterrupted or error-free
• All complaints will be resolved
• Government authorities will take action on complaints
• The Services will meet your specific requirements

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Samadhan shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Actions or inactions of government authorities
• Conduct of other users or social workers
• Service interruptions or data loss

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Samadhan, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Services
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you submit through the Services

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse of the platform or other users
• At our sole discretion with or without cause

Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Odisha, India.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through:

• Updates to this page

Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

16. Severability
